Perhaps some of you are familiar with the colourful mount of aviatrix Irina Burnaia & aviator Petre Ivanovici, used for a long-range flight to Capetown (interrupted at Victoria Lake), in January 1935.
It was an I.A.R. 22 (2nd prototype), YR-INA, which had a huge yellow (?) star painted underneath the fore cockpit.

A friend of mine has asked me of the colours this airplane was painted on.
I will try to post a scan here, later on.

Any idea would be welcome.

To me it looks overall blue (wings and fuselage) with yellow letters and star (or sun). The circle inside the star could be red. The nose also should be yellow.

Additionally, the entire tail surface looks to me the same colour the nose part was painted on. Could that be also yellow?
Also, the star and civilian register's letters look like of different shades (although it could be two different yellows).
