A needle is good but much better is a cutter, it makes a great job.

It looks very good.

When are you going to finish it? I’m very eager to see it finished. happy.gif

I started working on my other helmet because of you, but it takes ages to clean the paint. I’m doing it with very fine sand paper (P600); it looks good but its hard work.

I’ll post pictures tomorrow.

Good job I am still trying to get off the remaining paint but because it's to thin bought paints are getting off. I will try with very fine sand paper like yours. I will post pictures with the finished helmet soon. I only have 4 more helmets laugh.gif

The fine sand paper can be found at any car part shop.

Here is my helmet after cleaning it and applying some satin lacquer, it uniforming (uniformizeaza) the color, I highly recommend it to you.

Satin lacquer means "lac mat".

@ANDI
Very nice helmet and in very good condition. I never knew that the liner could be also brown.

Yes, I was also amazed when I got it. It even has the royal acceptance stamp inside.

The interior of the helmet is like one of mine. Don't you think, only that the lether of my helmet has dryed out.
