I am looking for any photo of Romanian gas mask produced under Polish licence (Polish wz.32). I need this picture for prepared publication about Polish trade-in-arms during the 20s and 30s. Any sources?
Do you know about any other photos which might be useful for this book?

Hello Woj!

The Romanian-made version of the Polish wz. 32 gas mask was the Model 1935, produced by a local firm named Sarogaz. You can find more details at the following site: http://gasmasklexikon.com/
Just browse the countries list and click over "Romania". Then you'll get a list of Romanian-made gas masks at your left. You can open each entry in order to be able to see a nice, bigger picture of the chosen item. The Romanian Md. 1935 mask on show is in pristine condition and looks as if it had left the factory a few days ago!
Yours,

Ruy

Thanks Ruy! I knew this page. But I was interested in "paper" version of photo (or good-quality TIFF file, for example).
According to the history of production - I have a lot of information - including copy of commercial agreement ("Convention Entre le Ministere de l'Armement de Roumaine....et Le Ministere des Affaires Militaires de Pologne").
Yours,
Woj

Well, why don't you try to contact the people who run the site? Maybe they can provide you a good quality, "printable" version of the photo, in TIFF format.
But of course, a period shot of Romanian soldiers wearing the Md. 1935 would be even better...
Yours,

Ruy

Hi Dénes,

(made in 1960!)

Not that incredible... after all, the Swiss Army keep using gas masks for horses - Pferdegasmaske - until very, very late, at least into the Eighties. They have a model which was produced until 1974, according to the Austrian site mentioned above.
The image is from that site - Swiss section:
