I am attaching various 44th Bmb Gry, 461, 98th and 376th Bmb Grp Photos and various other bombing photos for you to eventually identify the missing aircrafts as well the loction of the bombings. All photos were taken between Aug 1943 till August 1944 over Ploesti , Boucharest and other Roumanian cities. Bellow is the Otopenin BN photo

Bucuresti Mogosioaia is being hit by a B-24 of the 461st Bmb Grp by mid 1944, can you identify the location and confirm the purpose of the bombing ?

Here is an other Bombing photo of the 450 Bmb Grp over Bucuresti by mid 1944, purpose and target unknown , presumambly marchalling yards again note the salvo of the 250 Lb bombs on the lower left lower corner bellow

Bombing of Chitila Marshall Yards near Boucarest ( presumably 1944) target priority and results unknown, from BN who's still alive , confirmed me that post bombing recon photos showed minor damages...ARR scrambled 15 aircrafts on that day and flack was heavy to severe

Can anyone tell me if there are records in Roumania about this aircraft which went down over Roumania between 1943 to 1944? Note the 3 airkills he scored over Roumania painted near pilots cockpit.......IAR-81's ?

The same aircraft photographed bombing targets near ridges , the crew and acft MIA till today.....
