In the 50's the ship ( navy ship) on whom one of my relatives served as a cadet has been in a serious accident.

Does anybody know if any Romanian navy ship was lost or damaged at sea post WW2? Any serious accident resulting in dead crewmembers ?
I'm asking because I've never heard about such a case - and certainly not about that wild rumor posted by distroe above. I'm thinking if there were any ships sunk in storms or which ran aground? Any on board fires, expolsions or other accidents? Thanks |
