Hello,

Can somebody please explain the context of the the following texts (and translate them) of a "livret de serviciu militar" of the year 1939?

1. Comment on the first page:
"Livretul trebue sa se gaseasca asupra purtatorului la urmatoarele imprejurari.
Chamari la concentrare,
in caz de mobilizare,
Viza livretului,
cand va calatori pe calea ferata in baza unui ordin de chemare."

2. "Sold. .... (surname name) a inceput serviciul militar ca soldat recrut (sau) recrut
la data de 7 III 939, anul ..., in Regimentul C. J. 2 Jand.
.............. Se trece in completare, din oficiu, pe ziua de 2. III 942 ..."

3. "Grada succesive in completare, rezerva, militii: 7 III 939 soldat"

4. "CORPUL DE TRUPA CARULIA APERTINE CAT SE GASESTE IN COMPLETARE REZERVA SI MILITII: C. Instr. 2 Jand Data: 7 III 939, Cent Instr.: 5, Data29 X 943"
Does anybody have informations about this "corpul de trupa"?

5. Gradul de pregatire militara la terminarea serv. sub arme : Instruit
Functiunea la care poate fi intrebuintat la mobilizare: Puscas Grenadier

6. If I have the "Conting. 1939" and a "matricolul" number, can I find out more about this soldier?

Please excuse my orthographic mistakes.

Greetings

1. "The owner must have this document on him in the following situations:
When he is called for concentrations (maneuvers),
In case of mobilisation,
When the documents needs to be stamped,
When he is called by the army and travels by railway."

2. Private (surname) started military service as a conscripted soldier
on 7 III 1939, in the Regiment C.J. 2 Geandarmes.
......................Will be automatically completed on 2. III. 1942.

3. Grades in reserve, militia: 7 III 1939 private.

4. As reserve militia he belongs to Instruction Corps 2 Geandarmes, Date: 7 III 1939, Instruction Centre: 5, Date 29 III 1943

5. Training status at the end of military service: trained.
When mobilised, he can be used as rifleman and grenadier.

I think it is possible to find some records at the Military Archives at Pitesti.

Thank you for the translation and the explanations, Dragos 03. It is a great help for me.

Is anything known about the location of this corps in the years 1939 to 1944?

By the way, does the archive in Pitesti send also informations abroad?

Greetings
