Am in need of the commanding generals of the 2 Vanotori divisions that existed in World War I. Anyone know them, or know where I might find them?

Thanks for that information. 2 questions:

1. What's the source for your info?
2. Is Dabija the same Dabija who wrote the latter history of the war?

1. Various decrees of the “Army Monitor” (“Monitorul Oastei”);
2. Yes. General Gheorghe Dabija was also the author of the impressive study “The Romanian Army in the World War (1916-1918)", published in 4 volumes during the 1930s.

Question for Kepi:
What kind of access do you have to copies of Monitorul Oastei? Obviously I'm about to ask you to look up some things for me, so be careful with your answer. biggrin.gif

What happened to these 2 Hunters Divisions after end of WW1 ? I think they were later included in the new Hunters Corps. Maybe somebody can provide more details (dates, commanders, etc.). Thank you.
