Many people here may be aware that soon there will be 20 years since Doru took-off on a silver wing in his flight to what himself defined as the unknown.

Below you may find a copy of a message posted on the aviatia.ro forum

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aviatia/message/23491

I would apreciate if you would share this with other aviation communities.

For those who never read a line of his writing, a little token from The Actor's Entrance.

A lot of things were happening, which I understood only much later, those things which if you don’t get by yourself, it means you don’t deserve to understand. But for this you have to fly a little – 9-10-11-12 years, first a stumpy blue airplane, then a swept wing MiG, and finally the delta winged supersonic – to get to understand.

Which of his books are considered by forum members as best?
I have only two, and unfortunate my language knowledge is not enough to understand all of its beauty.
Dezmintire la Mit, 1991, Buc, Editura Labirint, with familie pics and MiG21 9612
Lumi Galactice, 1992, Buc, Editura Rum Irina 25 and 200 (old) lei respectively!
