Hello! I looking for information and photos from Brasov Air Show on 12 juin 1930, Thanks in advance for any answer.

AFAIK, the mentioned air show took actually place on 27 July 1930. It was the first major air show held at Brasov. It was organized by the local I.A.R. Works, and several military airplanes from units stationed in Galati, Cluj and Bucharest participated. Reportedly, there were a few accidents during this aviation 'meeting'. Gen. Dénes

Dénes Hi, Denes and Dan, You may remember I am looking for info on IAR Brasoz for period 1929/32 when my father worked there. In reviweing the gallery of photos of the section on 'Biographical Research' of this forum, I have seen many pictures of a champion pilot Alexandru Papana. He apparently flew on Potez 25 at the time and also in Brasov during this airshow in 1930. I was wondering if the picture that I have is from him. I attach it again for your comments... My Father is sitting on the right. Sorry, I don't seem to be able to load that pic... Please note: My email address has changed since our last contact. Marcel
