I don't know who wrote the article on "fundatia Serbanescu" site, but there are mistakes there. Marina Stirbey was Marina not Mariana. Irina Burnaia never was in Escadrila Alba... Theese for the first two phrases...

@Vrânceanu: the article is probably written by dna Eleonora Arbanas, Presedinta fundatiei 'Erou Cpt. Aviator Alexandru Serbanescu”. Because the article is most probably written from memory, without any sources at hand, the little mistakes are understandable and do not diminish in any way the importance of the message she wants to communicate: Mariana Drăgescu, turns 100 years old! smile.gif
