I found this article: http://conexiuni.net/arhiva/2012/2012Ianuarie/GeorgeGeorgescu_Ianuarie_2012.htm Is there anybody who knows what kind of plane used the pilot? Or other details about this mission? |

Just speculating: maybe a liaison airplane of a bomber squadron. The text does specify that there was no machine-gunner or radio operator on board, specialist which would have only been found on a bomber like the He-111H or the JRS-79B. However, cpt. av. Valentin Stanescu used an IAR-39 in his raids to the Lascar Group and the 1st Armored Division, but the IAR-39 would have at least a machine-gunner. |

I found Slt. rez. av. pil. Ioan Voiculescu as member of Esc. 113 leg. in Sept. 1942. The aircraft could have been a Fleet F-10G. Gen. Dénes |
