| Walter Adolf (hauptmann) born 11/juin/1913 at Fontanelle?(fantanele maybee..) Jud Bacau.
1/j/88 Condor Legion-1 vic. 1939 staffelkapitan 2/jg 1 First WW2 vic a RAF Blenheim 1 /Oct/1939 5 vic in France ,3 Blenheim in 3 min ,over Maastrich 12/Mai /1940. Ritterkreutz 13/11/1940. While serving 2 /jg/26 were the first to be equiped with the new FW 190 im July 1941. Didn't return from a mission on the 18/9/41. His remains were wasched at the Belgian shores 3 weeks later. His 190 was the first who was lost in combat. He recieved 25 vic:6 Blenheim,13 Spitfire,3 Hurricane,1 Curtiss,2 LEo 451. |
