| Has anyone heard of a Stefan Ranette who may have commanded the 8th Rosiori Cavalry Regiment during the campaign on Russia? He appears to have promoted to General de Brigada in May 1943 but is also listed as being retired by then as well. Any details will be appreciated, thanks! |

| He also fought in the first world war.
