Hello! Present to you M. 1889 artillery dagger found in the Romanian position battle at Odessa. Blade is well preserved, but there are a stamp on it. There remains room for guard. Is it possible to determine by whom and in what period released this instance? Regards Rixard. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/846/tecak.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/tecak1.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/864/tecak2.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/703/tecak2.jpg/ |

No, we cannot say who was issued this dagger to, the serial number is just a inventory number, not specific to a certain unit. But the dagger was probably issued to a artillery servant or second line soldier that was not issued with a long rifle equipped with a bayonet. Maybe an engineer. Nice find, the shrapnel damage is also very nice. |
