Panzer III renders with romanian markings on the Don front in late 1942. The number is fictional; it is probable that romanian Pz-III came without unit numbers. The only pictures I have show this type of unit shortly after they arrived in the romanian units and without unit numbers...

If the turret number is fictitional, why do you use it at all?

Other than that, it's an excellent rendering. Congratulations.

Another types of units (R-35, R-2...) in the same time use to have identification numbers painted on the side of the turets. I think that the pictures with ARR Pz-III in late 1942 were taken short time after their arrival in the romanian units and the crews didn't have time to apply this numbers. Also I think that numbers were added in the next days just in time before the russian offensive began.

PS Thanks

Only at the beginning of the war only the R-2 tanks had German type of numbers painted on the turret.

I am showing you some pictures from Militaria Magasine, Hors-Serie " De Moscou a Stalingrad (2). Dans l'enfer de Stalingrad" by Yves Buffetaut.

The first picture is showing a Romanian T-III with German and Romanian markings and Romanian registration number.

Here you see the interpretation by Jean Restayn of the picture in a drawring. I don't know on what he is basing the color of the vehicle (khaki) I think it was Dunkelgrau.

PS Very nice 3D models once again.

The Pz-III that were at Stalingrad area were former german units that came with german colors and markings. I think that they were Pz-III ausf. N, without the side evacuation hatch.

Thanks for the comments.
