The last from Eduard's I-16 trilogy.

This aircraft was the first captured by ARR during Barbarossa in 1941.
It was repaired, and then flown for training most of the time by Cpt.Av. Popescu-Ciocanel.
It was destroyed in a hard landing in september 1941.
But you already know it all.

What happened to the other two planes (you said something about a trilogy)?

Thanks!

I talked about Eduard's I-16 trilogy, type 10, 24 and 29.

That's an excellent model. I especially like the grime underneath.

My take on the history of the real captured I-16 is that the Romanian Pilot realized it was junk compaired to our I.A.R. 80's and purposly crashed it so no one else could fly it. biggrin.gif
