| By Greg Annussek. About the most infamous commando operation of ww2. Very interesting. A lot of back stage politics. It was a suprise for me. Actualy all the operatin was made by the luftwaffe. Gen Kurt Student,the para comanded by Morse and Von Berlepsch.Even the pilot who flew the Storck was Student's personal pilot Gerlach. Otto Skorzeni was by luck in the first glider,and his presence in the two seater Stork ,made the things only worse. Only that Hitler decided that the SS should take all the glory. I recomand the book to all. |
