I acquired my copy from a secondhand book dealer at a militaria fair, maybe 5, but not more than 10 years ago. It cost me the princely sum of 8 pounds Sterling.

Out of curiosity I have just had a look on Amazon.co.uk and they actually had one, used, copy available. However the price being asked for it is an amazing £150 (+ £2-75 postage)!!! ohmy.gif

I'm sorry to say it, but from the excerpt given - also from the contents - the book seems very subjective, much like some propaganda against Romania! The author states he ran from the Romanian army to Wehrmacht, because in the Romanian army he would have been beaten by NCO's. Does this mean the German NCO's had instructed their soldiers how? With cookies, with beer or asking them nicely? C'mon! It seems that we may have another Sven Hassel in here... smile.gif
And I have to say that I resent calling Transylvania a country - when it never was such thing!
