I just received No. 14, so I had the chance to actually see my article in print.
The story of early Rumanian aviation by Antoniu & Cicos is very interesting and has plenty of novelties. I am looking forward to reading the next episode(s). A minor detail I am a bit intrigued by: if back then the name 'Cerkez' was spelled with a 'k' (see company stamp), why do the authors spell it 'Cerchez', with a 'ch'? My point of view is when writing historical articles, the author(s) should stick to the spelling, names, etc. valid for the studied period. |
