My father Tadeus Natrasevschi died in 1944 behind a machine-gun in the Romanian army holding position against advancing Soviet troops. He was born in Noua Sulita, Basarabia. As a recruit he trained in Sibiu, 1943. I have never seen him, but my mom described him as handsome, black hair, brown eyes, tan complexion. I am looking for any info regarding the battle, where he may be burried, how to find his remains. Can anybody help? |

Was he a Pole? Gen. Dénes |

Yes, Gen. Denes, one may think that since he was fluent in Polish. His few letters from the front were in Romanian as well as a poem about revengingt Marius?(ilegible) through storms of bullets. I am not sure what he considered himself though. |
