Hello!

Still researching about ww2 in Romania. I would like to know what was the fate of the German units located in Moldova (the units that fought along with the Romanian ones) in the 25th, the 26th of August and so on. The reaction in Bucharest and the Prahova Valley is pretty well known, but I didn't find any info on the actions taken by the German units which fought actively against the Soviets and which were positioned more or less on the Focsani-Namoloasa-Galati defensive line...
Did they engage the Romanian units? Did they retreat and, if so, where and how did they retreat?
Thank you very much in advance... smile.gif

Try to find the book of Klaus Schönherr , "Luptele Wermachtului in Romania" . It was edited by Editura Militara in 2008 .
