100% post war.
Have you noticed any other difference between the WWII ones and the post war ones, I mean in size stitching, leather quality? |

Yes this is an iteresting thing. The ww2 ones have some lines (I don't know how to explain) and the post ww2 don't have them. You will see in the pictures. |

In the last picture the distance between the stitching and the edge of the pouch is smaller at the post war one. Also the leather appears to be thinner (if you look at the cover)
In the picture showing the front the circle stitch is better made, it's more exact, in the post war one. As for the small channel made in the leather some of my pouches have them placed in different places and the deepness differs. Thank you very much for the comparison pictures they help a lot. |

What kind of uniform (what model, rank, how many items, what condition, who was the owner)? As you know, there are many questions which could influence the price. On the other hand you may note that very few pre-1947 items of uniform and equipment survived in Romania after 45 years of Communism. So, it’s difficult to say what might be the right price. It depends on so many factors, e.g. the seller’s knowledge, correctness and profit avidity or your funds availability, eagerness and luck. Generally the sellers know nothing about their military stuff and the prices are chaotic. A few days ago, in an antique shop in Bucharest I’ve seen a German WW2 canteen and a Romanian communist canteen for sale with similar prices of about 25 Euros. A M.1891 Mosin-Nagant bayonet could be bought for 15 Euros in some place and for 80 Euros in another.
As a rule here, all prices are negotiating and even in antique shops you may obtain discounts of 10-15 % and is better to do not buy anything instantly. It’s recommended to visit several vendors before taking a decision. But remember, the Militaria offer is not very generous here. |

Here are spme pictures of the uniform. What should be a fair price to offer for it? It's dirty, with moth holes, missing buttons.
Thanks! -------------------- ~

500 RON is a very cheap price. I can not tell from the photos, but it looks like the collar patches are dark red maroon and the shoulder boards have 3 stripes on them. Medical Captain ?

It's not 500 RON, it's 500 Euro, that's a price tag for something else. I used the torso for this picture and I left the price tag.

It seems to be a medic Captain M.1941 service uniform. On the dark-red velvet collar patches the enameled red crosses are missing. I don’t know if the breeches are of the same cloth with the tunic. In the photos they look different. The shirt seems to be the communist model. The tie might be an old model but is difficult to ascertain this because only a small part is visible. The preservation state is very poor. I don’t know about the size and uniform story (owner, etc.).
The price for this uniform is definitely too big. In my opinion, a fair price should round the 100 Euros. It’s the shell included in the kit? |

500 Euro is high then for this piece. It should be more around 250-300 Euro due to condition.

The shirt and the tie are mine. Only the tunic and the breeches are for sale. The cloth is very similar but not identical

250-300 Euro's still too high but someone took it for 300 Euros (yep know who it is). At the most 200 Euros from the condition it was in from what I saw since I was 1 foot away from it. Hell had 5,000 Ron and some dollars in my pocket (can't leave money at grandfathers apartment because the cleaning lady really cleans you out if you know what I mean) and bought a Kreigsmarine plate instead. Would have paid $150-$200 TOPS but have a family friend who knows some veterans who might still have their uniforms (he has some of their medals and pictures) and if lucky enough will get one or more if dream comes true. Will find out this weekend!!!!
