Dan I need to gather info on the following aircraft and crew fates :
PORKY II, SCRAPPY II , WING DINGER , SATANS HELL CATS, LIL'ABNER, GI GAL, EUROCLYDON,HELLS ANGELS,THE LADY JANE BERTHA,PUFGY,EXTERMINATOR,JERSEY BOUNCE,LETER RIP,JOSE CARIOCA,JERSEY JACK ASS, MARGIE,DAMIFONO OR FOUR EYES,BOOTS,THE VULGAR VIRGIN,RAUNCHY,SEMPER FELIX, 42-40991 no name ,LIL JOE,OLD BALDY,AIRE LOBO,YEN-TU ( they were all lost at the Target at Ploesti) let me know if you can get details from the Roumanian archives or elsewhere as well photos. What is the PC game are you using on the Ploesti TIDALWAVE ? Alex |

As i remeber, Jose Carioca crashed over a women prison, making lots of victims, i remeber sowing film footage about this.
The game is called IL2 - Forgotten Battles, whit expansion: Ace add-on si Pacific Fighters add-on. Is the greatest game in ww2 plane simulation. |

CIP nice to hear from you again , yes I have the women prison photo, the 3rd floor was so badly damaged and it was not reconstructed . I heard that Anna Pauker was an inmate in there till 1941 until exchanged by the Russians against a Roumanian spy in Russia

For PUDGY - all I have from rom archiv it's Richard Murray indentified body and burried in Ogrezeni cemetery together with the rest of unindentified crew members KIA on 1 august'43 near Ogrezeni village. For more informations ask Cip who had some interviews with local people about this. |
