OK ALEX.
Some of the books that i mentioned you can find easier if you are from USA, UK and aonther european country. Some of romanian books and articles are very difficult to find because these were publishied in limited editions and some years ago. For example the book FESTUNG PLOIESTI I found very hard and that because I had a very generous friend. But all the articles that i have mentioned i can give to you if you are really interested to read them. |

Hi Alex,
It looks that your new book resolved all the Tidal Wave misteries You are very enthusiastic about this. But let remind you that many data and photo were for the first time discover on this forum before your book appear. So not all are new for forum members if they follow constantly the thread. But i think now we have to check if the data in this book is correctly in all respects. And know for all of you a big surprise. I just start last days a "Ploesti Walk Around" to find the crash places( and not only) for Tidal Wave. The first place - Treistieni ( Prahova ) "Boiler MakerII" force landig place. Attached Image |

The small village was never changed after sixty years. I found two witness ( over sixty years old ladies) who gave some usefull details about B-24 crash. They told me that indeed it was american bomber with many engines. One of the crew member ( very young as they rember) was wounded at on arms and was given the first aid in the rich people house at the entrance of the village. They said that engines are still runing ( mayby electrical generators ??) and only one guy from other village managed to stop them. They show me aprox. the place of crash in the north side of the village and one of their nephew help me to find it. Below the picture of these two Ladies ( farmers) who helpe me with info. Btw. they had only 10 to 13 years old on 1 august '43 and togheter with all children played inside the Boiler MakerII. Attached Image |
