How many AA guns were in a battery? I suspect that it varied with the size of the guns in the battery, but I'd like to know for sure.

Between 4 and 6 pieces.

For instance, most 88mm Flak batteries had 4 pieces each.

Usually, 4 pieces in a Romanian battery, and 6 pieces in a German battery.

Near Sevastopol, the Germans had installed a unit with about 25 pieces (possible all 88's) synchronized electrically, so when an electrical switch was turned on, all 25 AA's fired in the same instant. Usually the whole salvo was dedicated to just one plane, and that unfortunate plane always went down into flames after that.

I think that You have to specified period,ex,1941 formation or 1944 formation.

In JAN/1942,a light flak company in 1st Armor Division have three platoon, each platoon have 4 20mm flak gun, other hand,
