I am attempting to more accurately define the demarcation lines of army front sectors during 1917.
The Russian 9th Army held the front in the north from the border south to ??? what point. The Romanian 2nd Army held a 37 km front from ??? Magura Casin (Casin Monastery) - ??? Racoasa. The Russian 4th Army held a front sector from ??? to ???. When did the Romanian 1st Army return to the front??? What front sector did it hold from ??? to ??? And how did that affect adjacent armies fronts??? The Russian 6th Army held the front from ??? what point to the Danube mouth. I have a very large highly detailed kuk topographical map of Romania, but I have not been able to locate Romanian Maps (or Russian maps of Romanian Front) that clearly define these front sectors. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thank you. agblume |
