Romanian repro'er in Japan

I tried to contact this person some weeks ago, but they never responded. What does everyone think of his product?

The cap is quite ok, but not all the ammo pouches presented. Shovel might be ok also. The field jackets are not ok, as they are not wool made, as they were in ww2 (romanian army had no summer uniforms in ww2, only winter uniforms). The colour of the jackets is not ok, seems to me olive green, instead of kakhi.

How, then, would you rate Schipperfabrik's Romanian uniform?

I think is ok and accurate.

I know one of the guys on this forum who reenacts and bought a uniform from schipper.The uniform is pretty good and looks good,I believe he is useing the French ww1 wool for the uniform but do not quote me.
The price is what stop me from getting one as it is a large amount of cash to put out in one time.
The Romanian communist uniforms would work for me and if I can get a set in my size I would buy it.

I, too, am not ready to spend $400 on Schipper's uniform. He also doesn't have a great coat or puttees. I am working with my girlfriend to produce a Romanian uniform similar to Schipper's design, at a lower cost. We will try to make a great coat and matching puttees as well.

If you do start the run of uniforms try to produce a summer uniform as there is a need for one.
When the weather is 95 degrees and humid you need a light weight uniform.
I know we have to use the german style messkit but I would like it if someone could fabricate the romanian style messkit.

Let me check if there were summer uniforms in romanian army in ww2. AFAIK, there were only winter uniforms, but let me check it again.

I have seen photographs of summer cotton tunics on this forum, and in the Osprey book about Romanian forces in WWII. My girlfriend is currently visiting Southeast Asia, and will have a summer tunic produced there at a low-cost within the next 2 months.
