Romanian MFP/PTA barges

Hello, friends!

I search for original German designations of the Romanian PTA-404, 405, 406.
One of them probably was F127.
And when these barges received Romanian crews? F127 was transferred to Romanian Navy in Oct.43 but in Nov.-Dec.43 had still operated under her German designation and (it seems) with German crew.
Also the armament of these barges in Romanian service is interesting.

I don't think the armamament was different form the German one (for the MFPs): one 75 mm naval and two 20 mm AA guns + 2 anti-submarine grenade launchers.

Weren't they armed with 88mm guns?

I have finally found the page in Marina Romana in al doilea razboi modial vol. 2 by Nicolae Koslinski and Raimond Stanescu, where they mention several things on the PTAs.

The armament was according to this source: one 75 mm naval and AA gun, two 20 mm AA guns and 2 AS grenade launchers on each side. The 88 m appears to be mentioned in Armata Romana 1941-45, RAI, 1996, but I personally think that Koslinski and Stanescu are better source of info for the Navy than Scafes and Serbanescu (with the exception of navy uniforms maybe).

The same source mentions the PTAs being bought in February 1944. The section was put under the command of lt. Mihail Banceanu and started going out to see in March 1944.

Are you sure, that 2 AS grenade launchers on each side, not two 8,6cm RAG rocket launchers?
And what about original German designations of the barges and their crews?

The exact phrase in the book was:

So I take it the PTAs could launch 4 grenades in the same time.

The crews were Romanian since they were bought in February 1944 and they were under the command of a Romanian officer, mentioned above.

Unfortunately, their previous designations aren't mentioned.

I would be very surprised if the "grenade launchers" were anything other than the German 8.6cm Rocket Launchers. The rockets were referred to as grenades.

88mm guns aappear to be rare on the MFPs. They were used on the AFP-C "flaklighters" used in the Black Sea. Most of the MFP guns appear to be French or Polish 75mm guns.
