It seems nobody noticed the American Jeep shown in the second post (first page). That picture was taken after August 1944. The guys driving the Jeep should be some Soviet soldiers. From this website: http://www.o5m6.de/Numbers.html I learned that 43,728 American Jeep arrived in Soviet Union. This number does not include those lost during transport and those diverted. The total number of Jeep sent to S.U. from the U.S. was 48,993. And this number does not include the amphibious Jeep shipments... This post has been edited by Florin on April 15, 2011 05:38 am |
