I have several photos of the mausoleum made by myself when i visited the monument , but I never went to Marasesti town! I think the answer to your hypothesis can be given only by an old native from Marasesti, if some of us knows one!
 By the way, Marasesti was bombed in WW2?  |

I agree completely. The alternative would be if someone has lived in Mărăşeşti and remembers the elderly talking about 'Ostas Solomon's workshop'. Or if someone remembers 'Ostas Solomon's workshop' from any other Romanian town, Ploieşti included.
If the photo has indeed been taken in Mărăşeşti, then it is a strong indication that the town was bombed in WWII. What do the archives say about this? |
