G.I. Rappers.....

here's part of a song written by a U.S. G.I. on active in Iraq:

"You have no success with your bombs now it's mortar attacks/Oh! So you think that we not ready for that/
We got snipers on the roof flipping cats like acrobats/And I am the living proof, I'm on guard and I'm going to be there all night/
And to me your guerilla tactics is nothing to me but a little monkey fight."

QUOTE (mabadesc @ Feb 13 2005, 08:37 PM)
Yes, please do, Panzer!

About the previous pictures of Romanian soldiers, I believe you that they were taken in Romania rather than Irak, but what does that mean? What are you trying to say?

Romanian soldiers are serving in Irak, regardless of whether that particular picture was taken in Irak or not.

By the way, was the battalion you were in considered a "special forces" unit, or regular infantry/military police?
Are you a career military man?

Thanks.

i am not triyng to point anything , i cant say that i am happy because romanian soldiers are in Iraq, but this is part of there job, this is what they are trained to do.
I was in this unit only 4 months and this happened in 2001, and yes it was regarded as special forces and military police in the same time, but this was applied only to the men of the 2nd company and the recon company and not to the drill company.
No, i am not a career military man.
Your welcome, mabadesc biggrin.gif

Here is an Iraqi quote for the day.

Quote Of The Day: Democracy Or Death -- Take Your Pick
Now this guy has got the right idea....

We have freedom now, we have human rights, we have democracy. We will invite the insurgents to take part in our system. If they do, we will welcome them. If they don't, we will kill them." -- 80-year-old Rashid Majid
