Romanian FW 190 F with "Brasov cammo", FW 190 F in rom. service spring 1945

Several captured FW 190 F ( at least 8) were revised and repaint with rom. markings and "Brasov cammo" ( like rom. Bf 109 G6) in spring 1945.

Usually this type of cammo (in '45) had the number painted on fin. On the fuselage before roundels it's no number and after is only the white band. Unfortunetly the fin it's not visible in this pictures.

Cantacuzino, how did the "Romanian/Brasov cammo" look like? Pls. don't mind my ignorance. Was it the same thing with the camo used for the IAR 80? And by the way, is there a standard pattern for the cammo used for the 80s? Some of them appeard to be green/light blue, while others pained in some kind of British-type cammo/light blue. Does this have something to do with the 80s' variants?

C-no actually referred to the camouflage pattern applied to most IAR-built Bf 109Gs, not the '80/81s.

Some IAR-assembled/built '109Gs had serial numbers both on the fin and fuselage (see, for example, the post stamp size photo you posted recently).
I am wondering if there are other stills from this ciné film, which might show more of the fuselage and tail section.

You asking to much

For cinematographer the VIP's were the french pilots not the FW 190's.

I am wondering what are those pieces the blue arrows point at?

Denes that is not a 190.

Yes, it appears to be a '109. However, my question still stands.

Yes it'a "Brasov " 109 G6 with open cowlings to show the Bf equipment ( for visitors)

O.K., I see. So the top one is the removed engine cowling (I thought it was hinged), while the bottom one the lowered flaps. Now it makes sense.
