Today I received a sad news:
Dear Friends of August Blume, I am sorry to tell you that Augie has died peacefully on February 6, 2009 at University of Virginia Medical Center. One of his many friends, Larry Seawell http://www.legacy.com/DailyProgress/Obitua...sonID=123957597 August Blume was an active member on our WWI subforum and one of the best WWI historian for Austro-Hungaria, Rusia, Romania and Balkan areas. I believe WWI history lost an important resercher. God bless him! May he rest in peace. Dan. This post has been edited by Cantacuzino on February 11, 2009 04:01 pm |
