Awards in the Military Museum, Bucharest, Help Name Check with regards spellings a

Hallo Gents,

my handwritten notes were spoilt by rain on a visit to the Museum and I have been trying to decipher them. So far I have the following info:-

Any help appreciated with regards the correct spelling and designation of the units.

15. General-Engineer Dumitru Vasiliu, the Head of the Army's Fortifications Department, was KIA in June 1942, during the battle for Sevastopol.

many thanks for the reply, information and pictures,

I have just discovered that the camera chip containing the 50 or so pictures of the medals associated with the above names is defective while I could see the images on the camera display, once I transferred them to the computer I cannot open them, all I get is a "Data source not recognised" message

So it looks like I will have to plan another trip to Bucharest.
