Good evening.
I found this along with several other military items that belonged to my grandfather. There is a resemblance to the bladder from aviation oxygen masks. I can someone clarify whether it is ?. I thought in the first phase it is a soccer ball bladder. I don't think that it is from aviation mask as you can see it lacks the Valve. I'm not an expert...

May belong to a model with somewhat different principle of operation, or just my hunch is not justified.
