Hallo Gentlemen,

posted under is a copy of an email I received from the Irish Embassy in Bucharest yesterday 25th July 2007:

The Irish Naval Service vessel L.E. Aoife will visit the port of Constanta from 7 to 10 August 2007. This will be the first ever visit of an Irish naval vessel to Romania, and it is the first time that the Irish Naval Service has entered the Black Sea.

The Aoife will be welcomed to the port in an official ceremony which will take place on 7 August at approximately 15:00, and it will be open to the public on 9 August between 15:00 and 18:00; we would be delighted to welcome any interested Irish citizens.

It may also be possible to arrange group visits (for instance, with childrens' groups visiting Constanta) at other times; if you are interested in organising such a visit, please contact the Embassy on email: bucharestembassy@dfa.ie

or at +4021 310 2131.

Sorry to say its to far away for me to make the trip.

Hallo Gentlemen biggrin.gif

Just where in Constanta will the ship be docked, I might just be able to arrange to go, but I have no idea on the layout of Constanta, I have never been there before.
