Today I received a sad news:

Dear Friends of August Blume,

I am sorry to tell you that Augie has died peacefully on February 6, 2009 at University of Virginia Medical Center.

One of his many friends,

Larry Seawell

August Blume was an active member on our WWI subforum and one of the best WWI historian for Austro-Hungaria, Rusia, Romania and Balkan areas.
I believe WWI history lost an important resercher.

God bless him!
May he rest in peace.

Dan.
