Here are some observations:
1. Oituz was not a tug, but a cargo ship. The convoy was attacked more exactly 30 miles SE of Sf. Gheorghe. 2. Was not the Ossag later attacked by M35, which delivered the final blow on 23.04.44? 3. The NMS Regele Ferdinand was damaged on 23.04.1944, when it was attacked near Sevastopol by six bombers at 1326. A bomb entered the oil tank no. 7, but it did not explode. In fact it was only discovered in port, when the 3 mechanics which went in the tank to repair the hole, jumped out of there immediately, as if they had springs (as Raimond Stanescu remembers) 4. PTA 404 was damaged during a storm on 25.04.44 5. On 26.04.44 was damaged and immobilized PTA 406 (Romanian MFP), not Rb-37.The latter was used initially to tow it, but could not do it because of the difficult sea. The following day two R-boote towed it back to Sevastopol, where it was repaired. 6. On 9.05.44I found also UJ BW01 mentioned as sunk. 7. UJ 2314 was severely damaged, not sunk, but it left for Constanta. 8. The tanker damaged on 11.05.44 (torpedoed) was not Fredericke, but Firutz. |

Thank for your remarks and additions!
> Was not the Ossag later attacked by M35, which delivered the final blow on 23.04.44? What speak your sources about this vessel’s loss? There is a version about sinking this tanker damaged by aircrafts 22.04.44 the next day, 23.04.44 by German R-boot. > The tanker damaged on 11.05.44 (torpedoed) was not Fredericke, but Firutz. The tanker was renamed between 1943 and 1944, wasn’t ? >On 9.05.44I found also UJ BW01 mentioned as sunk. What reason and place of his loss ? You know exact time of loss the following vessels ? Geiserich, 712 BRT Seepferd №27, 133 BRT KT 17 Elbe 5, 500 BRT (and what deadweight has this lighter ?) |

Koslinski & Stanescu say that during the afternoon of 23.04.44 UJ 103 and Rb-206 tried to tow it back to port. The tanker was attacked by M35, which fired two torpedoes of which one hit. Then the convoy was attacked in two waves: 5 Il-2s and then 20 bombers and fighters. UJ 103claimed three aircraft shot down and suffered minor damages. Despite their effort, the Ossag sank 15 miles SW of Sevastopol at 1602. The M35 was attacked and severely damaged, but managed to get away. The UJ 103 was then attacked by 8 aircraft, of which it claimed another 2. The bridge was destroyed and the engines damaged. The next day it left for Constanta, for repairs, together with Totila and NMS Regele Ferdinand.
I have no idea, but in the reports about the evacuation it is mentioned as Firutz.
The UJ BW01 is mentioned as lost together with the barge Var (War) just as they left Sevastopol, after being attacked by Soviet aircraft and artillery.
It was previously hit by aircraft and was being towed by an R-boot, when it was attacked and sunk by Sc-201 (commander Paramoshkin) on 12 May |

Sergey,
The Budapest and the Tisza didn't sink, just damaged (the Tisza downed 2 Bostons and an Il-2 on 12 May, 1944, after his 'sinking' ) |

This day M-35 made launch of two torpedoes at 08:49 on single transport by displacement of 1000 tons in a point 44.23,0N/ 32.01,0E. One explosion was heard through 55 sec, through 20 minutes a vessel in the periscope have not detected. What time of torpedo’s hit give Koslinski and Stanescu? |

23.04.44 Germans have fixed two attacks of the Soviet submarines: - in a square L.Qu.2552, 2 torpedoes – unsuccessful attacked Uj 103; - in a square L.Qu.2556, 2 torpedoes - unsuccessful attacked the same ship. On the tonnage indicated by the commander of M-35 it’s possible to assume, that he attacked a sub-hunter. Somebody knows fixed attacks time and what coordinates correspond to these squares ? About attacks SC-201 12.05.44: - at 08:59 in a point 44.12N/ 31.05E was attacked transport (presumably, unsuccessfully - Tisza) by displacement of 4500 tons which was towed by a minesweeper, two explosions are heard; - at 21:12 in a point 44.07,9N/ 30.59,8E was attacked MFP (presumably, was damaged F 568), one explosion is heard. |

Ok, sorry (BTW what is the different between # and =?)
I have a very brutal remembrance about the attack against the Budapest. Several hundred Rumanian soldiers were on this ship, when the Il-2's attacked this vessel. All of their bullets were hit (means hit the Rumanian soldiers) Real blood brooks were on the Budapest's deck  |
