Can anyone point me towards some colour pictures for Romanian troops in Russia. I have seen pictres that have the colours varying from a Khaki drab to yellow brown.

Thank you.

Osprey, Men At Arms series has a book on the Romanian Army in WWII. The text is in english but it does have colour plates. From the little I have read it seems that the uniform is khaki wool, but in the summer a cotton tunic was issued and this seems to be a lighter khaki colour than the wool. I have seen some pictures of Romanian troops wearing yellow armbands (1941?) so that they are not mistaken for CCCP troops. I hope this helps.
