hey there,

just wanted to show you a service book of a subsequent ss volunteer on behalf of a german acquaintance.
the owner presumes the soldier is the son of the former leather manufacturer samuel karres from medias.
any significant translations would be highly appreciated!

greets form germany to romania

The document is of Calcic Gheorghe, son of Samoil and Maria, born in Bacău, Bacău county (Moldova region), born in 1918, domiciliated in Bucharest. If you want the translation of his military record from the document you posted, just let me know. There is no reference in it about service in german army. Between 1st of February 1940 and 21st of October 1943 there is no record of him in the romanian army. He was discharged from the romanian army on 23rd of October 1944.

thanks a lot for your help! if it is not an extraordinary effort for you, it would be great to have a translation of the military record.
