We only have the www domain and hope to get the site ready in a few weeks, with the help of a specialist. We are hard working to amass the information and photos.

Great! Will add it to the links page on the WWII Romanian site. Make sure to add a reenacting links page so you can exchange with other organizations (WWI and WWII) which would also add more exposure for the unit. Great Job!

Mihnea and Kepi,
Too bad you can't come here and play at the WWI site in Pennsylvania. Going to do a winter trench life event during February (day after my birthday and is my present to go from my wife ) and in April have a spring event. Site to the Great War Association is GWA and the WWI forum is The Trench Line This post has been edited by RHaught on December 28, 2006 02:47 am |

Great!
Unfortunately Pennsylvania it’s a little bit too far from here. Next year we are planning to go only at European WW1 shows: Passchendaele, in Belgium, an important international event, on 14th-15th of July and at the city of Brad, in western Transylvania, on 11th of August. Blossdorf-1915, in Czech republic, (on 4th of August) and Komarom, in Hungary, (middle of September) are also possible targets but it depends upon other commitments. What WW1 army do you reenact? |

Well finally we have the site! Please see: http://www.6dorobanti.ro and enjoy!
This way we hope to improve our visibility among the military-history fans and the promotion of living history events in Romania or abroad. The site also has a forum that deals with reenactment in Romania, in which you would find a lot of interesting information on this subject. Many thanks to the WorldWar2 Forum administrators who accepted to host our reenactment hobby and for the person who very kindly helped us to build our own site & forum. |

Thanks for your kind wishes. We do hope to cooperate with the reenactors of the 34th Infantry Regiment of Constanta / 9th Infantry Division, on different events, here and abroad.
We put a link towards your nice site (http://www.9thromanian.com/). Unfortunately, I tried to open it recently, but it didn’t work. |

Kepi,
Will add your link to site as well. Might have been working on server/changes when you tried or I was doing something on it. Should be up and running now. Next event coming up is in Virginia, scenerio Spring 1943 after Stalingrad. Will let you know when I am coming to Romania the next time just incase something is happening in reenacting. |

Kepi,
Wife is thinking of returning home to Iasi for two weeks this summer. I do not know what the plan is but think she really wants to return for a last time to Romania since I doubt her grandparents will be alive the next time she wants to return. As for the site, I have it linked to the 9th Romanian site. Have one joining up for the East Front event in GA and another in Iraq right now so will wait till he returns. Too bad the forum is in Romanian and I only know very little but translating with a dictionary, online sources would make me feel like a student again. |

It will be great to meet you next summer. Maybe you could come at the beginning of august when we plan to organize a WW1 battle show in the town of Brad (11th of August), in Transylvania.
Thanks for linking our website on your 9th Romanian Division site. We also gave information about your site, see: http://6dorobanti.ro/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1171647624. Our forum is in Romanian but we also have an “International section” in which any foreigner could write his opinions. |
