With regards the last photo, dramatic looking, but, in reality the Panzer-faust would not kill the tank at such close range, but, the user would not survive such a "close encounter of the panzer type" tongue.gif

It's strage to see a WW1 bulgarian stormtrooper ("Sturmpionier" - our bulgarian friend on this Forum), trying to stop a German Panzer IV of WW2, with a Panzerfaust "Klein"... smile.gif

Indeed I was a Bulgarian WW1 Stormtrooper during the show, dressed in a repro Bulgarian M1915 summer uniform and equiped with German M16 helmet and Austrian WW1 leather equipment like many of the Bulgarian soldiers in 1917-1918. During the war against Germany 1944-1945 the Bulgarian army used the same equipment exept the helmet, which was model 1936. Another differens was the shirt, which after 1936 was green. However some of the bUlgarian soldiers still had M16 German steel helmets (see the picture). So, only the white shirt was a barrier between me and a WW2 Bulgarian impression. smile.gif

The guy in the back of the tank is the best, covering his years, I believe that at the time the photo was taken a cannon was fired.

You guys are so lucky to have a Panzer IV!

Too bad one of the post-war Panthers could not have been saved for the museaum!
