In 25-26 august 2012 there it will be the Academical History Festival at Râşnov (Festivalul de Istorie Academică). It will be presented the 1848-1849 revolution in Transylvania (Romanian Landsturm), 1866 pruso-austrian war, 1877 Romanian War od Independence, American Civil War.
Program starts on 10 in the morning and ends at 18 in the evening in 25 august and between 10-15 in 26 august. Entrance is free of charge. Everyone passionate of history is welcome! |

So, by "Academical History Festival at Râşnov" you mean reenactment. It is my fault that I misunderstood, and also yours because you should present that festival as a reenactment matter. P.S.: I am sorry I cannot be in Râşnov, to re-invent the submarine "H. L. Hunley" for the Confederates. I would design it much better, with the technologies and knowledge they had available in 1863. No, the name is correct: is academical history, presented by professors, with the help of reenactors. It is not a simple reenactment event.
