Crusade Against Communism Medal

Hey folks! Nice to be a member here among Romanian historians and enthusiasts : )

I recently bought a Crusade Against Communism Medal, and I was wondering what the established history to the version that has a flat ring, yet no P. Grant maker mark is. Was this a German made medal or another Romanian made just without the mark? Here is a photo:

Here's what I was thinking:

I think the tarnish is what is tripping people up. Typically what I've found was there was the Romanian [P. Grant, flat ring] and Romanian [No P. Grant, flat ring], and the German, then the post-war Souval/Vienna ones. If you'll look at this picture of a P. Grant below, notice the details (outline of the nose, hair at forehead, braids, lips). Knowing what I know of forgeries and repros (I've had quite a few as I built my collection of Soviet stuff!) it just feels original to me. Of course, there's always going to be room for error: I'm no expert. But I will say in weight, detail, reactivity of Bronze and behavior of tarnish, it looks pretty much legit in my opinion. Here is a photo side by side of mine and a known P. Grant alongside a German manufactured one from another board compared to mine:
