Hello friends,
for a project about german landingcraft during WWII I´m looking for more data about the aquisition of german MFPs (Marinefährprahm) by the Romanian Navy in WWII. I have: a. From Gröner and KTB of the 1. Landungsflottille: F 127 --> 10.1943 to Romania, F 314 --> 16.12.1943 to Romania F 322 --> 16.12.1943 to Romania. b. Various sources from this forum: During the Sevastopol-Evacuation PTA 404 and PTA 406 (both ex-german MFPs) where used by the Romanian Navy. c. From further research: 1 craft with ex-number of „F 902“ to „F 906“: 194. roman. PTA 404; 9.1944 sovjet. BDB-14; 1 craft with ex-number of „F 902“ to „F 906“: 194. rumän. PTA 405; 9.1944 sovjet. BDB-15; 1 craft with ex-number of „F 902“ to „F 906“: 194. rumän. PTA 406; 9.1944 sovjet. BDB-16. My question: What was the correct fate of this vessel in the Romanian Navy? Thank you Darius |
