I'm selling a LDT's IAR-80A 1/48th scale, new and unstarted with a pair of True Details' resin weighted wheels and a Verlinden's Gnome Rhone 14 resin engine (from a Henschel Hs-129 1/48th update) for 30 Euro (37,90 USD aprox.) plus shipping costs

A must for every Romanian modeller... biggrin.gif

[SNIP] with [SNIP] a Verlinden's Gnome Rhone 14 resin engine (from a Henschel Hs-129 1/48th update) [SNIP]

I would like to make one small correction, if possible (I am not trying to mess up your sale - this kit is the only game in town and not entirely bad)
The engine used on the Hs129 was a Gnome Rhone 14M "Mars" whereas the engine used on the IAR80/81 was a IAR14K, which was a licence-built Gnome Rhone 14K "Mistral Major".
The "Mars" has a diameter of 950mm
The "Mistral Major" has a diameter of 1296mm
They were completely different. wink.gif

Radu you forgot that the thicknes of the injected part of this kit is quite bigger.
The engine cowl inner diameter could hold better the small engine Mars tongue.gif

I'm just check both items, kit and engine, and them fit quite well...

As I said, I am not trying to mess up your sale. If you want to add a DB, a JuMo, or a Klimov engine to your kit pack, I have no problems with that. smile.gif

I am sure that it is possible to fit a "Mars" engine where a "Mistral Major" should go. As a matter of fact, you can fit a Pratt & Whitney or a Bristol engine there if that takes your fancy. laugh.gif

Hower, all I am saying that the IAR80/81 and the Hs129 used two very different engines.

That's the reason why I hate radial engines... mad.gif
It's more simply to hide the DB 605 under the cowling of an Bf-109G, almost my only object of interest laugh.gif
Thanks a lot Radu for you advices smile.gif
