2 September 2004 - Since I am unable to contact Dariusz Tyminski, webmaster of WWII Aces Stories, for some while now, I have decided to post the updated/edited versions of my articles on his site on my own site. Hopefully this is the first step into creating more extensive biographies on the Romanian airmen in WWII than the little details provided in the former format. I also have two articles on IAR-80 aces ready, which only need to be translated and am planning a third one plus some on the less "glamorous" bomber pilots.

The update also includes photos of the tombs of Alexandru Serbanescu and of Alexandru Popisteanu.

4 September 2004 - A new update in the Pilots section. Like I said I already had two IAR-80 aces biographies in Romanian (which were rejected by a certain magazine), so I started translating a shorter version of these and here is the first one. There are also several new photographs, some of them pretty rare. Enjoy! smile.gif

11 September 2004 - I have changed a little the interface in the Pilots section, in order to make it easier to browse thorugh it. The biographies that cointain photos/profiles have a small camera near them and those that go into more detail about the life and career of the respective pilot have a small written sheet of paper near them. The new additions are signalled by an exclamation mark in a black circle.

There are five new biographies available, raising the total to 70 and I have added photos to several older biographies.
