@_Vik: yes, you are right, without any exact date, the author of the photos, documents that identify the identity of the persons in the photo and the „Romanian” unit shooting them we can speculate anything we want: soviet soldiers executed for war crimes, Jews executed for terrorist acts, ex soviet soldiers left behind the lines executed as terrorists, romanian soldiers executed for non-combat or desertion, romanian civilians executed for aiding the enemy etc. ...

Salut de la Odessa. În timpul lucrărilor pe câmp sud-vest al satului Dalnic ( pe hărțile din al doilea război mondial-înălțimea dealului 66.8) au fost găsiți doi soldați români. La unul dintre soldați a fost găsit un medalion ( insigna eticheta, semn de identificare)cu inscripția MATR.1490 CTG.1933. Vă rugăm să stabiliți identificare persoanei decedate. Dacă ați putea să luați rămășițe (scheletul) în România noi le vom da. În apropierea Odesei găsesc mulți soldați români. A noștri cercetătorii nu numai odată vau transmis insigna, ( medalii, semne de identificare) la consulul român, ambasada în Odessa cu o rugăminte să vă transmită rămășițele în România rudelor decedați și cu aceasta sa închis dosarul de căutare a persoanelor decedate și întoarcerea lor în țara de origine. Lucrătorii consulului nu se grăbesc sau nu doresc să se ocupe de această situație. Nu uitați că ei au căzut pentru marea României. Din partea noastră ne vom aduce acordul în Ucraina.
