Torpedoes manufacture

What torpedoes where found on the Regele Ferdinand?
Italian W270f or W270v ?
German G7a T1 ?
Or even UK MK IV,VII,VIII, IX?

any ideas?

Off the top of my head, are there not some torpedoes on display in the Artillery park of the Romanian Military Museum in Bucharest?

Kevin, that would be closer to Deva (if you are there) than to me.
Also, if they would be in the artillery park (outdoors), they would not have their interior exposed at the mercy of weather.
My attempt was to show their "guts", with what I have available (this means no stealing other people's photos).
As for their exterior looks - that's everywhere, and that's the easy part.

At military museum in Bucharest indeed are some torpedoes exposed out in the open, 1 or 2 if I rem well. I think they are of post-ww2 soviet production and cant be seen in the interior.

Romania never built torpedoes.

They were/are complicated machinery assemblies, and some made during WWII were using liquefied air (or liquid oxygen, in the case of Japanese I-93).

The bottom line: the Romanian industry may had the ability to make one under license (the same way they did the engine IAR K14 or the Me-109), but they decided it is cheaper and more reasonable to import as many they needed.

Germany? Italy or pre war UK stocks?

Perhaps it is of interest: in March 1944, Rumania bought 300 magnetic mines to be air dropped (from a Luftwaffe document).
