My father Tadeus Natrasevschi died in 1944 behind a machine-gun in the Romanian army holding position against advancing Soviet troops. He was born in Noua Sulita, Basarabia. As a recruit he trained in Sibiu, 1943. I have never seen him, but my mom described him as handsome, black hair, brown eyes, tan complexion.

I am looking for any info regarding the battle, where he may be burried, how to find his remains. Can anybody help?

Yes, Gen. Denes, one may think that since he was fluent in Polish. His few letters from the front were in Romanian as well as a poem about revengingt Marius?(ilegible) through storms of bullets. I am not sure what he considered himself though.
